Yes, absolutely, you can get a seat for BHMS but BHMS is not a good career option.

Hello Iram,
Clinical psychology is a specialist branch of psychology. Hence it follows that unless you have completed graduation, you will not be able to do PG in this. Perhaps PG Diploma can be allowed by some universities.

You can go for BHMS.
There is a lot of scope. After the course completion (BHMS), you may find employment as:
1. Homeopathic practitioner in both India and abroad.
2. Medical representative at a private or government hospital.
3. Professor or a researcher in any homeopathic college.
4. You may start personal clinic.
5. You may setup retail shop of homeopathy medicines.
6. You may work in industries dealing with homeopathic preparations.
7. You may start your own pharmacy.
8. You may work in public and private sector.
9. You may work in private or government hospitals, clinics, NGOs, etc.

Hi Rashmi,
The eligibility for BAMS course under Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved & Research Centre is:
1. Through Entrance Test conducted by Association of management of unaided private medical and dental colleges.
2. Any examination equivalent to H.S.C. / (10+2) examination, of any recognised board/university after 12 years of study.
3. 50% in PCB for general category and 40% for reserved category.

Please refer to the following points mentioned below:
1. All government & private medical college will take admission via NEET scores only (except AIIMS & JIPMER)
2. Private unaided college (which is affiliated to a State University) or a Deemed University including minority colleges like CMC Vellore, CMC (Ludhiana) will be able to take admission via State centralized admission counselling process only which will be conducted by respective states DME department (Directorate of Medical Education) . No separate application or admission process will be conducted by private unaided college or deemed university.
