B.V.Sc. and A.H. Eligibility:
: The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. and A.H.) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks secured from a recognised board of the country.
: Veterinary Council of India conducts an All India Common Entrance Examination known as All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) in the month of May each year for filling up of 15% of the total no. of seats of each Veterinary college of the States where the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 extends.
: Some of the State Universities also conduct separate entrance examination to get admission to their B.V.Sc. & A.H degree course. Selection to the degree course in these colleges is based on marks secured in the final merit i.e. total marks aggregated in the final exams of 10+2 and the entrance exam.
