MBBS is a graduation degree. In medical profession and for your stream i.e. pathologist, MBBS should be done and you need to pursue a specialisation course for the same. Moreover, you can also get into path course through lab course which requires no MBBS.

The basic requirement for the eligibility to get the admission to BAMS programme is qualifying the 10+2 examination with good score with physics, chemistry and biology in 12th class. The candidate can opt for different national and state level entrance examination such as - KLEU AIET KLE University, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, Assam CEE Assam Combined Entrance Examination, TS EAMCET.

Yes, the only thing is that you need to have the minimum marks required i.e. above 50% in 12th.

Yes, you can switch but you have to start from Bachelor's degree. Also, you must check the admission requirements of the colleges and the programs. It is best you check with the colleges directly. See here:
