If you wish to make your career in the medical field, opt for BIPC group in HSC. After completing your HSC education, you need to appear for various national and state level medical entrance exams.
Most prominent medical entrance exams are:
1. NEET
2. JIMPER
3. AIIMS
The minimum percentage required (category-wise) in HSC for NEET is:
1. General: 50%
2. SC/ST/OBC: 40
3. PH/PWD: 45%

Bachelors in alternative medical system is a two-year undergraduate course conducted by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines and is duly registered by the Government of West Bengal under Act XXVI based on the Central Government Act XXI of 1860. You need to appear for the medical entrance examination. You need to have PCM stream with an aggregate of 50%. The other procedures are similar to that of medical entrance examination.
The colleges that offer BAMS select candidates from the Medical entrance rank list. The duration of this course is 5 years.
