There is no single “best” university because it depends on the course, career goals, budget, and learning preferences. Among the options mentioned, each has its own strengths. For students looking for an industry focused curriculum, strong exposure to practical learning, internships, and diverse career opportunities, LPU is often considered a good choice. Its focus on skill development, industry interaction, and placement support makes it a competitive option. The right decision should be based on academic interests, campus environment, and long term career objectives rather than rankings alone.

If affordability is your main concern, I would suggest considering LPU seriously. One of the biggest advantages is the availability of LPUNEST scholarships, which can significantly reduce tuition fees based on your performance. As a student, I feel LPU provides a good balance between cost, infrastructure, research facilities, and placement opportunities. Biotechnology students also get exposure to laboratories, industry projects, and internships. For financially weaker students, the scholarship opportunities at LPU can make the overall investment much more manageable while still providing quality education and career support.

Both SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Lovely Professional University are well-known universities in India, and both offer good academic exposure, placements, and campus facilities.

However, from an overall student experience perspective, LPU is often preferred by many students due to its:

  • Strong industry exposure & tie-ups
  • Modern infrastructure and labs
  • Wide range of specializations
  • Active placement support and training
  • Large campus with diverse student community

Because of these advantages, many students consider LPU a strong choice for engineering and professional programs.

As an LPU student I'd say B.Tech CSE is better in LPU. LPU offers better placement packages. Big recruiters like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon are recruiting and a massive campus with world-class facilities. LPU also hosts many tech events, hackathons and workshops which helps students build their skills and career. So in my opinion I would say LPU is better.
