In the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing exam, a sound score is very important because the competition is high. In the case of General, a reliable score lies above 69-95 marks out of 100. In case of EWS and OBC-NCL candidates, they should score more than 90 marks, whereas SC/ST candidates should score more than 85 marks. These are after all cutoffs and the actual scores may vary marginally every year depending on the difficulty of the examination and the number of applicants.

Great emphasis is given to MBBS, MD, and MS in the Tripura Medical College. Although they provide B.Sc. Nursing there is no direct reference to undergraduate B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or the Diploma in MLT is provided in Tripura Medical College itself. Yet other educational establishments within Tripura that do provide BMLT (Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology) are: Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) and Bhavan Tripura College of Science and Technology.
