Basic eligibility criteria for both these courses is the same at 50% in aggregate marks in 10+2. Also age should not be more than 25. For both courses, an entrance exam is conducted. For applied psychology, students could be from any stream while for biomedical, students must have taken Science with biology. The former course will be conducted only if 30 students opt for it while the latter course will be conducted even if 20 students opt for it.

Further, candidates must fillout the online application form with all the required details. Once the application form is sumitted candidates must participated in the in-house entrance exams. The university conducts its own onpine entrance test consisting of 50 questions and 50 marks. Candidates have to qualify for the exam as per their desired programmes and process for further selection rounds (if applicable). After the online entrance exam, NMIMS School of Design releases merit lists with shortlisted candidates' names.
