Most of the time, admission into the B.Sc. Forensic Science program at the Institute of Forensic Science, Mumbai, is based on the marks obtained at HSC (12th) and other eligibility criteria for the course.

Considering your NEET 2024 rank expected to be around 13,000 means your getting a government MBBS seat will depend largely on the state to which you belong and the category under which application is made.
Top-notch colleges will probably be out of reach through All India Quota (AIQ); for example, to get into AIIMS or JIPMER, it would be quite difficult with the rank in AIQ.
However, there will be good chances for admission in well-reputed government colleges from states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, or Karnataka, as cut-off ranks for general category students for some government MBBS colleges typically extend to around 12,000-1

However, like all the other medical and clinical departments in NIMHANS, it offers an entire suite of postgraduate courses, including MD in Psychiatry. This is an excellent place to consider for those interested in pursuing psychiatry with specific aspects of mental health or other such areas.

With a mark of 297 in NEET 2024, and belonging to the SEBC category, you may also get admission to BHMS from Dhondumama Sathe Homeopathic Medical College, Pune. The usual cutoff for SEBC candidate ranges between 161 marks and 127 marks. So it is above the cutoff. And admission also depends on the cut-off of the particular college and seat availability. One would do well in participating in the counseling process and monitoring the official announcements about cutoffs to ascertain one's eligibility for getting admitted into this college.
