Yes, admissions at Saveetha Institute of medical and technical sciences are entrance and merit-based. Admission into this school is students-only when they qualify for the entrance exams in their respective feilds to take admission. If a student wants to take admission in the medical field, then he or she has to qualify for exams like NEET, etc. For engineering the aspiring candidates need to qualify from exams like JEE mains, TNEA etc.

Yes, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences accepts the scores for JEE mains. If you are willing to take admission BTech from this college then you can take admission by JEE Mains score. Also they do admission by TNEA coucelling. So these are your two options. They accept TANCET/GATE exams score if any student is willing to take admission in MTech.

If you are confused between both of these institutes to pursue B Pharma, Saveetha University will be a better answer for you. This can be justified be seeing rankings for both of these Institutes. Saveetha University is ranked #18 in the field of medical by NIRF, while SRIHER is ranked #21 in the same field by NIRF. So if we see these rankings we can say that both these Universities have a good rankings in their specific fields. But if we compare both these, Saveetha university has a better ranking.  Also if we see the fee structures Saveetha university costs 6 lacs and SRIHER costs 5lacs for the fees of BPharma. B-Tech is considered as the top course at saveetha university  because of thier industry exposure programs and OBE learnings system or obejctive based learning system. This makes the students ready to work in the industry and give the students practical knowledge in their respective specialisation.  The engineering college of this university is ranked 64 by NIRF. Which is a good ranking. Students are given tasks and assignments based on the real world practical knowledge. In addition the packages which are offered to students after completing thier BTech are also good which is 12 LPA the highest and 6 LPA is the average. So,

Yes Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences will be very good option for you if you are thinking to do BTech from this Institute. This institute provides the student various project based tasks and internships which makes the students ready to work in the industry. The fees for this course at this university is also resonable. Yes students get a good return on their money invested in Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. And it can also be said that studying in Saveetha University if really worth it. The yearly fees for doing B.Tech here is around 1.1 lacs, If we count it for full course, It will not be more than 4.4 lacs. The highest package offered here is 12lpa and the average package is 6lpa. Yes Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences is as good as Sri Ramchandra Institute of Higher Education .  If we see NIRF rankings SIMTS is ranked as 13th position under the university catagory, while SRIHER is ranked as 57th under the same catagory. Both the Institutes have good rankings.
