There are about 20+ best Medical colleges in Chennai offering MBBS course. Of these, 15+ are private colleges and 5 are government colleges. NEET is the best entrance exam for admission to top Medical colleges in Chennai.
Top colleges include Madras Medical College, SRIHER, SIMTS, Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute and SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre.

Comparing prices of Nepal's College of Medical Sciences and Kathmandu University. Post claims that admission to affiliated medical colleges in Nepal costs approx INR 35,000,000. But cost of attending Kathmandu University varies according to course of study and program. Cost structure for UG medical studies at Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences is allegedly not made clear.

The candidate should pass BPT from The Tamil Nadu DR. MGR Medical University Chennai or an examination of any
other university accepted by the authority of this university as equivalent thereto. Students who meet the mentioned educational qualification can apply for the course. The selection criteria for the course is merit-based.
