Government MBBS seats are the best option for financially strapped ST aspirants because they provide heavily subsidized (almost "free") education. The majority of state-run medical schools only admit ST students, who normally need to have a NEET score of 400 or higher. It might be difficult to get an MBBS seat in Madhya Pradesh government medical colleges under the state quota with a NEET 2024 score of 515 and a general category rank of 187,300. For government MBBS seats in the state general category candidates have historically needed marks in the range of 520 to 550.

The NEET 2023 cutoff score for BCM (Backward Class Muslim) applicants at Tamil Nadu government medical colleges was 504 which translates to an All India Rank (AIR) of 80,758 according to the most recent data available.
Although precise numbers for 2024 admissions have not yet been released, patterns point to a potential rise in cutoff scores as a result of increased competition. To increase their chances of getting a spot BCM applicants hoping to enroll in Tamil Nadu's government medical schools should aim for a NEET score higher than 510.

Cutoffs for admission are much higher and change every year depending on the amount of applicants exam difficulty and seat availability. To gain admission to government medical schools in recent years OBC applicants usually had to receive scores in the range of 530 to 560.

State Quota and All India Quota (AIQ): While state quotas vary but typically demand 400+ points, AIQ seats typically close at 600+ marks.
Other Options: You can look at paramedical courses, BDS, BHMS, BAMS or private MBBS institutes.
Retry NEET: To improve your score the following year think abo
