Yes, candidates who are willing to get admitted to the undergraduate dental courses need to qualify NEET exam. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the national application test for BDS admission. Students who enroll in the BDS course can pick from a variety of job options once they have completed the course. They may work for Medical Device Manufacturers, Pharmaceutical Firms, or Hospitals. Additionally, students have the option of opening their own Dental Office.

There are about 8 top Medical colleges in Mangalore, and all of which are privately owned. NEET is the only accepting entrance exam in the top MBBS colleges in Mangalore.
Top colleges are Kasturba Medical College, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Yenepoya (Deemed to be university), Father Mullers Medical College, A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, etc.

Yes, colleges do provide admissions to students on merit basis and also on basis of other entrance exams like the ones mentioned below:
- MHT CET: Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test, is a state-level annual entrance exam for admission to Engineering and Enter programs that is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).
- GPAT: Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a computer-based national-level entrance examination conducted by NTA i.e. National Testing Agency for admission to Bachelors and Masters pharma courses.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, the annual intake as authorised by National Medical Commission is 150. Out of these seats few are reserved for NRI students and the remaining are filled of as per the guidelines issued by National medical commission. Besides MBBS, there are lots of different courses which a student can do in this Institute. Normally speaking medical colleges with only graduation as MBBS do not have any placement cells since there are not many companies that recruit doctors like they do for engineers or management experts. However, the post graduate students of various streams of this college do get placement opportunities and are also placed in different institutions. Hello Nishar Ahmed, there are no placements after MBBS in any medical college and that is true in this college also. Be that as it may, few students do get placed after their completion of graduation including internship. However after doing PG, students of this institute do get placement offers.

Candidates who have opted for AIIMS, Bhopal during the NEET UG counselling are required to fill an online application form available on the official website of college.
