NEET admit card is a crucial document which is a must to be carried to the exam centre on the day of the exam. The NEET admit card will be valid till the admission process is completed. After the exam day, the NEET admit card will be required during the counselling process, where it is one of the documents for verification. Candidates must note that the NEET admt card will be valid for one exam season only. The admit card of NEET cannot be utilised for the exam of next year, or any other exam.

As per the dates trend of the past few years, the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting authority releases the NEET admit card approximately three to four days before the actual exam date. In the past couple of years, from 2021 to 2023, the NEET admit card or the hall ticket was released approximately three to four days befoe the exam. Prior to that, the admit card was released three to four months in advance. Off late, NTA is releasing the document few days before the exam to avoid malpractices. A percentile refers to the comparison between the score of one candidate vis-a-vis the other test takers. It is the percentage of scores that a particular score surpassed. NTA has stated the formula to calculate the NEET percentile, which is given below:

100 multiplied by the Number of candidates with their raw score equal to/ less than the candidate divided by the Total number of candidates who appeared for NEET. 

As per the NEET 2023 result data, the highest percentile obtained was 99.9999019.

The marking scheme for NEET has been stated by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is expected that the marking scheme will remain the same for the next year's NEET as well. Four marks is awarded for each correct answer and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer. The complete marking scheme is given in the table below.

Since the total number of questions in NEET question paper is 200, out of which 180 questions have to be attempted, the total marks of the exam is 720.

Since the NEET scorecards are released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, in an online mode, it can be accessed and downloaded anytime by the test-takers. Once the NEET result is declared, candidates will have to download the NEET scorecard by logging in with their registration credentials and take multiple printouts. They are also advised to save the NEET scorecard PDF softcopy in their computer systems or mobile phones for easy access. In case they lose the hardcopy or even the softcopy of the NEET scorecard, they can visit the NEET website, click on the Download NEET-UG Scorecard tab from the latest News

The NEET result is declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in an online mode. Once the NEET result is declared, candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download their scorecards. 

1. Visit the official website - neet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET

2. Click on the link indicating NEET scorecard download

3. Enter the NEET application number and date of birth or password

4. Enter the security pin

5. Download the NEET scorecard PDF document

6. Take multiple printouts

After checking the scores, percentile and rank of NEET, candidates must preserve the NEET scorecard PDF properly till the admission or the counselli
