The consolidated placement statistics are not available on the official website. As per NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to MBBS students was INR 12 LPA during the placements 2023. The median package offered to MBBS students remained the same for the last two years i.e., INR 12 LPA. Moreover, as per the report, 114 MBBS students received placement offers.

No, the topic or chapter on earthworm is not included in the NEET Biology syllabus. The NEET syllabus underwent changes wherein certain topics were removed and various topics have been added from other state Boards. In the NEET revised syllabus, there was no mention of the Earthworms topic. Under the unit of Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants, the topic of 'Nervous and reproductive of an insect and Frog.' Based on last year's syllabus, it is estimated that the insect is cockroach, along with frog. Hence, it can be estimated that the Earthworm topic will not be included in the NEET Biology syllabus as well.

Yes you can pursue an MBBS after completing your BSc course. But you need to pass all India medical entrance exam NEET just like any other candidates. Entrance exam is conducted by NTA. Do check eligibility requirement before applying to course as well.

The fee in this institution is affordable and reasonable. The Dayanand Medical college and hospital charges around 11 Lacs for the MBBS course. Yes, Medical College, Kolkata is better than Dayanand Medical college and hospital. The education that the colleges offer are of good quality. But the difference in the fees for which the courses are offered are drastic. For example, the MBBS course offered at the Medical college, Kolkata is 45,000, whereas the MBBS course offered at the Dayanand Medical college is 11 Lakhs. There is a difference in lakhs.

The Eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical college of Kolkata is pretty much similar to other goverment medical colleges. The MBBS course seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG score and rank. Therefore, the candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the NTA for the admissions for MBBS. After the NEET-UG results, the cutoff is released by the MCC or the Medical counselling committee based on various factors. The probability is low, but there are chances that you might get admission at the Medical college Kolkata.  590+ marks can get you a seat in the top colleges through state quota. The 480+ marks is a marginal score that has a chance to get you into the state quota. But if students get less than this, then they can get admission only in the private medical colleges. It is quite impressive if they get 400+ marks, considering the difficulty level of the examination.
