Yes, the books of NCERT and HC Verma are highly recommended for MHT CET Engineering 2024 preparation. NCERT books provide a good foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and cover all the basic concepts that are required to be prepared for the exam.

Hi,

With a 75 percentile in MHT CET and belonging to the VJ category, your chances of getting admission depend on the cutoff trends for your chosen college and course. The VJ category often has a relaxed cutoff compared to the general category, increasing your chances of securing admission in many colleges.

To determine your eligibility:

  1. Check the previous year's cutoff for the college and course you're targeting.
  2. Consider participating in the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) rounds, as category-specific seats are allocated based on merit and availability.
  3. Keep an eye on institute-level quota seats if the cutoff is slightly higher than y

Yes, you can easily get admission at Ramdeo College with 95.97 percentile in JEE and 110 marks in MHT CET for B.Tech CSE. Your JEE alone score is enough to get admission as the Institute requires score of only one entrance exam for  B.Tech. 97.97 percentile in JEE is quite good score and you have a high chances of getting admission without any problem. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech at this Institute is that you should have minimum 50% aggregate in your 12th (PCM) from a recognized board and you need to appear in any one entrance exam JEE Main, MHT CET, RUBEE, or CUET.

Yes, MIT School of Bioengineering and Research in Pune accepts MHT CET scores, including PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group scores, for admissions to its undergraduate programs like B.Tech in Bioengineering. Applicants need at least 50% in their 12th grade (with 45% for reserved categories) in Science subjects, including Biology. After qualifying, candidates must apply through the official admission portal and follow the selection process based on merit and entrance exam scores.

Admission to the esteemed College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) in Kerala is normally determined by KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) scores rather than the MHT CET. However as cutoff scores for competitive branches like Computer Science Engineering are usually higher your score of 119 might not be sufficient for top branches in prestigious institutions if you're using the MHT CET as an alternative entrance exam for another state university.
To improve your chances of passing the CET you should strive for a higher position in KEAM.

In case you have wrongly entered the passing year of Class 10 in your MHT CET 2024 application form, this will not adversely affect your counseling and admission process. Generally, the examination authorities pay more attention to your performance in the qualifying exams than to the details in the application form. However, this mistake is always better corrected if possible by contacting the examination authority or updating your application through the official portal. All information will be correct and there will be no potential issues during the admission process.

Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is mainly for admissions to engineering and pharmacy courses. But there are few colleges who accept it to BVSc admissions, it all depends on the choice of institution.

For Example, the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences in Udgir selects candidates for the BVSc and AH degree course based on your MHT-CET score. And like this you could find few more colleges.

But, mostly the veterinary colleges, including those in Maharashtra, now prefer NEET scores for admission to BVSc.

The shift is due to the Supreme Court of India's directive that NEET should be the standardized entranc

I think you must have to prioritize one of them, like boards first or JEE exam first, and focus on one of them more sincerely but with decent preparation. Most people spend most of the time in preparing for competitive exams and a decent score of 75 percent in boards.
