This changes every year, based on the number of applicants for any academic year, the toughness level of the exam, and the number of seats in that particular branch. However, generally, the MHT CET cutoff for other popular branches like Computer Science, Information Technology, and even engineering could be in the range of 70 to 90 percentile while, on the other hand, those may come less (between 60 to 80 percent). The cutoff is determined by the Maharashtra Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and, as such, is changed every year according to categories (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.). Yes, you get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT) without MHT CET if you score well in JEE Main. For Maharashtra candidates, though MHT CET is the priority entrance exam, out-station candidates can get the admission through JEE Main scores.

Eligibility for B.E. / B.Tech in ACET is mainly based upon MHT CET or, in some cases, a JEE Main score but if you haven't cleared MHT CET then either or results of JEE Main could take it considering the college's rules at the time. It should first refer to the college for requirements applied towards admission without MHT CET and to specifically know the conditions and add process also.

If your MHT CET score of 81% satisfies the year cutoff requirements you have a decent chance of being admitted to MIT World Peace University (MIT WPU) B.Tech CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) program. MHT CET or JEE Main scores are used to determine admission to the program. Every year the precise cutoffs could change based on variables including competitiveness and ticket availability. At MIT WPU the entire cost of the B.Tech program is about INR 13.20 lakh. High-achieving students can also apply for scholarships depending on their MHT CET percentile.
