The duration of M.Sc Programme is usually two years in Indian universities and colleges, which can change to 3 years depending upon which specialization you choose. If I assume, you will do your M.Sc in Microbiology itself, I am glad to tell you that M.Sc Microbiology is a two years regular degree programme and divided in to 4 semesters. All the best.
