If you have 60% is your then there are less chances of getting scholarships from a reputed or college or university for overseas education. Here is the list of some good university for MS in microbiology: -

Microbiology is the essence of public health and medicine. As more and more organisms achieve better survival with our current medications, there will be a renewed emphasis to develop newer ones just to keep up. Again, a doctorate would be better.
Lastly, biochemistry is closely tied to the prior 2. The basis of much of the newer drugs isn't necessarily by chance. As we understand receptor sites, membrane science and actions of enzymes and amino acids, then there is a better chance at helping us extend life.
