Hello Anupam,
By scope you mean employment opportunities, I suppose. Well, there is very little scope in India for such specialisations. India is still a developing country and at nascent stage as far as research in life sciences is concerned. You may get jobs in research and development but the initial pay will be quite low. It may take you 4-5 years to get a decent pay package. The condition abroad is far better.
All the best.

Hello Patel,
There are plenty of options to choose from after B.Sc microbiology. If you wish to continue with M.Sc, you can specialize in any of the disciplines listed below:
M.Sc Microbiology: In this too, you can either go for a general microbiology degree or choose a specialization from medical microbiology, clinical microbiology, food microbiology, dairy microbiology or applied microbiology to name a few.
M.Sc Biotechnology
M.Sc Food Technology
M.Sc Dairy Technology
However, if you aren't interested in research or laboratory work, you can look up for courses in management (if that interests you). Some of these courses are:
MBA pharma man
...more

Biotechnology and microbiology will provide you better opportunities over all. Rest of the fields are equally important, but they depend on your own interest and choice. But if considered in common then biotechnology and microbiology are good.
