You can get a job as medical lab technician if you have completed your B.Sc. A Master's degree is always an added advantage. But you haven't mentioned the stream of your graduation so I cannot be confident enough if you get your Masters in microbiology because mostly microbiology and biotechnology graduates are preferred for such course. I will suggest you to do M.Sc. in the same, microbiology. As Masters degree will give you a handsome salaried job and it will open some more ways to your success.

Both micro and biotechnology are deep biology. Biotechnology is more research based. Microbiology is also research based but there is one difference that microbiology students can easily get a job in comparison to biotechnology students.
If you have resources, only then you should opt for biotechnology else you can pursue Masters in microbiology.
