Hello,
As per your rank you will not get any branch in any of the NITs, so look forward for other colleges.

Hello Pavan,
There could be as many opinions as persons involved. As per me metallurgy and materials will have better prospects than mines. Lot of research is going in materials and metallurgy.
Best wishes

Hello Pranay,
Do you really believe you can complete the course if you get admission? Reports say that majority of students who score around 50% and get admission have not been able to complete course. My advise is to look for some other profession. If you work hard then you can shine anywhere.

Hello Pranay,
Why have this obsession with engineering? You have just managed a positive valid score that's all. As per reports majority of candidates who have scored below 50% marks in qualifying exam are not able to complete the course.
However, you have some chance if getting admission in private college in Maharashtra after counselling is over for all MHT CET qualified students.

No, at this score you won't get admission. You should focus and reappear or choose an alternate specialisation.

After Diploma in mining engineering, it will be very difficult to say that what type of jobs you will get. But after B.Tech or M.Tech you can get a wonderful job.
After pursuing Masters courses related to mining engineering (ME, M.Tech or M.Sc.), one may take up teaching job (lecturer or instructor) at relevant technical education or engineering institutes. After completing advanced courses like Ph.D, one may even build a career in the R&D sector associated with the field of mining engineering.
