MIT School of Architecture, MIT-ADT University

The fee required for applying to the B.Arch programme at MIT School of Architecture is $75 USD. Furthermore, for those considering enrollment in the Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program, the school now allows applicants to submit results from the PERA CET entrance exam and official scores from Cambridge English exams (C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency), beginning with the Fall 2024 admissions cycle.

MIT SOA M.Arch seat intake is 20. Candidates seeking admission to the MIT SOA M.Arch are required to meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the Council of Architecture and the MIT ADT University as applicable from time to time. To begin with the MIT SOA M.Arch admission process, eligible candidates must fill out the application form and submit the Statement of purpose before the deadline.

The MIT SOA M.Arch course work includes the following:

• 80 Credit Program over 4 semesters
• 8 Weeks Professional Training in Govt. Semi-Govt and Private Offices between 2nd and 3rd Sem
• Planning Studios on Area Development, City Development and Regional Development along with Integrated Core Courses and Electives

MIT SOA MPlan is offered with speicialisation in Urban and Regional Planning. The duration of the course is two-years, spread over four semesters. The curriculum of the programme is designed to help shape the policies to combat global warming and contribute to the creation of self-sufficient communities. The MIT SOA MPlan includes the following coursework:

• 8 Weeks Professional Training in Govt. Semi-Govt and Private Offices between 2nd and 3rd Sem

• Planning Studios on Area Development, City Development and Regional Development along with Integrated Core Courses and Electives.

Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and appear for the relevant entrance exam. Admission to this course is done through a valid score of either NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 and the total seat intake in 80.

MIT SOA BArch course structure and credits are given below:

• 262 Credit programme over 10 semesters.
• 120 working days of professional training in architectural offices, allied firms and corporate offices.
• Skill courses, technology courses, design courses and knowledge courses included in the core subjects, Multi Disciplinary electives from Art, Design, Technology and skill domains starting from Vth semester, for overall development of the students.
