For UG course the result of KCET taken in consideration . In session 2024 for 2A general category closing ranks ranged from 36096 to 84308 in Round 3.

For Mtech in computer Science and engineering :- Round 1 closing rank: 6260, Round 2 closing rank: 5802

For MBA programs :- Round 1 closing rank: 10197, Round 2 closing rank: 10321 

For COMEDK UGET the cutoff marks for all india general category is Round 1: 96035, Round 2: 51461 

Yes you can get direct admission to MITE ( Manglore institute of technology and engineering) through various exams like KCET (Karnataka CET) or COMEDK UGET followed by counselling for undergraduate admissions.

They mainly focus on management quotas and sponsored seats for B.Tech and PG programs.

If you want to get admission in PG courses like MTech, MBA, . MCA so GATE, Karnataka PGCET, CAT/MAT/KMAT scores can be taken in consideration for direct admission.

In MIET 45% seats are reserved for KCET, 30%  seats are reserved for COMEDK UGET and 25% seats are reserved for management quota. 

In the session of 2023 - 2024 MITE gets the highest package of 50 LPA. It is the highest package of the year . This package is offered by TEXTRON Company to astudent of 2024 batch from Aerospace Engineering branch. The Information Technology branch has the highest package of 40 LPA. 

Also the average package the students can get in MITE is between 4 LPA to 7 LPA. 

In session 2022-2023 more than 200 companies come forward in MITE for the palcement process and in session 2021-2022 total of 835 students are placed in 77+ different companies.
