The placement is decent. Like, it is not 100 percent but the average package is provided by college is 3-4 lack LPA.

I am not sure about that but you can surely try at some other institutions, govt as well as private institutes. Your score seems good. The MBA course at LM Thapar School of Management is also good, I have heard. They have well laid course curriculum, good placement records and a beautiful spacious campus for you to enjoy your MBA life. A PGDM course from a top-level college is any day better since the placements, industry exposure, teaching, infrastructure, and the overall MBA experience would be much better there. After all, there is a reason why we consider a college to be top-ranked.

There is no exact cutoff for the selection in PGDM as it's been done through GD PI process. However, for MS the cutoff for MS was close to 1400 rank.
