You may get a seat as your rank between 36000-48000, but it is very hard to get a seat in top branches. The Last Round closing rank for B.Tech ranged between 4908 and 38537. The candidates are advised to contact the administration department of the college to get accurate details about the admission process.

MNNIT is one of the institute of national importance. It is far better than any private institute to get admission. You get much better campus life than any other institute. Professors are from different NITS and IIT so you get best exposure here in any expect. You get opportunity for in campus internships and placements.

As per the campus placement many giants visit the campus every seasons for different job role in different sectors such as SDE, analyst, banking etc.

Axis Bank, America express, Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, HCl are major giants visiting the campus.

Seats are reserved in each branch for different categories. Around 15% of total seats i.e 125 seats are reserved for DASA candidates.14% seats are reserved for female candidates. 50% seats are reserved for state quota in every NIT. 27% for OBC ,10% for Ews, 15% for SC, 7.5% ST, and 5% for PWD candidates are reserved.
