As per the answers on the unofficial source, the most affordable post-secondary school in Nova Scotia is Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. The tuition fee to study UG programs at MSVU will be between INR 6 Lacs – INR 12 lakh. On the other hand, to study graduate programs, the tuition fee range will be between INR 5 Lacs – INR 12 lakh.

Students can live on-campus at MSVU. There are three residence buildings for all students; The Birches, Assisi Hall, and Westwood. An initial deposit of CAD 300 must be paid at the time students complete the application for housing. Once the application has been received, and the room has been assigned, students will be notified by email and required to pay an additional fee of CAD 200. Know the 2023-24 residence fees from the official website. The cost of living in Halifax will be as follows:

Yes, MSVU offers scholarships to international students. International students are eligible for most funding through merit-based scholarships. If students are coming directly from high school, then they may be eligible for entrance scholarships that are automatically considered based upon admission. Make sure to submit the application for admission as per the mentioned deadline. Entrance Scholarships are also available for new graduate students who get accepted into a thesis-based program.

The general MSVU admission requirements for Indian students are given below:
- Undergraduate: Higher Secondary School Certificates awarded at Class 11 or 12 – with grades of A, B or C is required. Students must have an average of 70% (5 best scoring academic subjects considered) during the final year of schooling.
- Graduate: A bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline is needed for graduate studies at MSVU
Furthermore, do submit the English language proficiency scores. IELTS / TOEFL are the accepted test scores

The average class size of MSVU is 23. In other words, the classes of MSVU are small size with an average of more than 20 students. Also, this class size is nationally recognised as being amongst the lowest in Canada. Since class sizes can vary a lot but at MSVU the small class sizes will help students build better connections with professors.

So, to get into this university, the applicants who meet the entry requirements and application criteria have a higher chance of getting admission. In general, for admission to MSVU undergraduate courses, a high school qualification is required. For graduate courses, an undergraduate degree is required.
