If candidates are interested in public health policies, epidemiology, health promotion, disease prevention, and community health, MPH might be the right choice after BPT.

If candidates are passionate about providing direct patient care, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and improving physical function and mobility, pursuing MPT or DPT might align better with your interests.

No, In India, pursuing an MPT after completing a BPT is not strictly necessary, but it can offer several advantages such as career advancement, clinical expertise, personal development, etc.

While pursuing an MPT after a BPT offers several benefits, it's essential to weigh the costs, time commitments, and potential return on investment. Some individuals may choose to gain practical experience in the field before deciding whether to pursue further education. Ultimately, the decision to pursue an MPT depends on your career goals, interests, and individual circumstances.

Typically, the use of ‘Dr’ as a title is associated with individuals who hold a doctorate degree, such as an MD or a PhD. The title ‘Doctor’ is commonly used for medical doctors, dentists, and individuals with doctoral-level degrees in various fields.

An MPT is a postgraduate degree, and individuals who hold this degree are generally referred to as ‘physiotherapists’ or ‘physical therapists’. While the MPT signifies a high level of expertise in the field of Physiotherapy, it does not confer the title of ‘Doctor’.
