Only selected candidates will be called for the music practical exam for B.A. Music (Hons.) at Delhi University. The selection for the practical exam will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam. The cutoff for the practical exam is usually around 50%.
The music practical exam will be held at the Delhi University campus. The exam will be conducted in two parts:
- Part 1: This part will consist of a sight-reading test.
- Part 2: This part will consist of an improvisation test.

The cutoff for MA in Music at the Faculty of Arts, Dayalbagh Educational Institute has not been released officially by the institute.
