You need to discover who you are as a singer and performer before you begin trying to launch your singing career. Start out by experimenting singing different genres of music. This will help you figure out what kind of singing style comes naturally to you. Take voice lessons, learn to read sheet music. Learn to play the piano or guitar so you can be a multi-faceted artist, and perform more independently. Learning an instrument also helps you play underlying notes in songs, which can give your performance a unique addition.

You can do a course related to music and make it your passion. In my opinion, we have to do things at every stage of life. If you are interested in music, you can do shows or concerts if you are good in that.

There will be 3 papers. Paper 1 will on general teaching and research and Paper 2 and 3 will have questions related to Music. UGC NET Music questions will involve descriptive answers from the candidates and will your in-depth understanding of their subject related to all the topics referred to under UGC NET Music Paper II and also tests the candidate's expression, power, creativity and imagination. Which college do you wish to apply for?

Yes, you can apply for NET exam in music. This CBSE UGC NET Music Paper will contain questions with multiple choices and fill in the blanks type. It includes topics which are general in nature and the core syllabi covered by most of the universities in their post-graduate courses. These questions are intended to test the range of the candidate's knowledge of key definitions, concepts, movements and other relevant facts.

After completion of music honours degree you will be eligible be apply for any university or college. You can also work in advertising agency, music and video stores, performing arts centre, music companies.

M.A. in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University requires its candidates to have completed M.A. or B.A,(Hons./Spl.) in Vocal Music or in any subject with special aptitude in Vocal Music from any UGC recognized University.
You should find out whether the course you have done in classical music is equivalent to a B.A. in vocal music, so that you can apply to the institute for this course. Regards.
