Sorry but with music honors, there is no option of selecting economics as a subject. The syllabus generally covers music subjects like Musicology, Stage Performance, Theory of Indian Music, and many more. You can have a look at the syllabus of the college where you wish to apply.

In classical music, you need to learn about Raag, Bilawal, Raag Bhupali, Raag Yaman, Raag Bhairav, Raag Khamaaj, Raag Kaafi, and other popular Ragaas in the starting. Once you learn about them, practice more on the ones which you think you are good at.

Why do you want to switch from animation to classical music? You can anytime go for classical music classes along with the PG course, if you have interest in the same. Moreover, you need to have a BA Degree to pursue this course.

Hi,
So, I took a little help from someone pursuing Music Hons at Miranda House. This was her answer-
So basically yes Miranda House offers a course in Music but our classes are not held in the college. We don't even have our music department in Miranda House. All the classes are held in Delhi University's Faculty of Music and Fine arts. We only have AECC and GE classes in Miranda. And talking about the career placements, Music is an art. Educational Requirements to pursue music therapy as a career:
Music therapists being musicians as well as therapists, a background in music and love of music is essential. In India, it is an emerging field and graduate or post graduate courses in Music therapy are rare. But Diploma and certificate courses are available. Abroad, becoming a music therapist involves obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher in music therapy and obtaining certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
