The National Institute of Design, Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) results are accepted by NID Bangalore for M.Des programme admission. The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) or National Entrance Test (NET), both administered by NID, must have been taken by candidates. The minimum cumulative score required for admission to NID Bangalore in 2024 is 60% in 10+2 or a comparable programme. The NID DAT 2024 exam is set to take place on December 24, 2023. The provisional offer letters for B.Des admission will be released on June 13, 2024, and the final results for M.Des admission will be announced on April 30, 2024.

The fee schedules for NID Bangalore and IIT Guwahati are not well-explained in the search results. It is clear, nevertheless, that NID Bangalore costs more on average than NIFT Bangalore. Although they aren't stated clearly in the search results, NIFT Bangalore's annual tuition costs are probably less than NID Bangalore's. The fee structures of NID Bangalore and IIT Guwahati are not directly compared in the search results.
