Some of the following scholarships are available for students pursuing their M.Des program. The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute also has Merit scholarships and Merit-cum-Means scholarships for M.Des students based on the performance of students per semester. The merit scholarship pays the full tuition fees. Meanwhile, the merit-cum-means scholarship gives 70 percent of tuition fee waivers to students with a family income less than ?6 lakh.
IIT Bombay also provides a host of scholarships such as Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Heritage Fund Scholarship, and OPJEMS scholarships for its M.Des students.

Design Course in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru there are a total 347 seats in all 19 M. Design courses; including all reserved categories.On an average about 15,000 students take the NID exam each year. Of these roughly 1200 (8% - 10%) students qualify for NID Mains.

No, you can not get into National Institute of Design (NID) Bengaluru without appearing for the DAT exam. The institute offers a full-time degree in MDes at the postgraduate level. Admission to the programme is strictly entrance-based. Interested students must fulfil the eligibility criteria i.e., graduation from a recognised university. As admissions are entrance-based, students must appear for Design Aptitude Test conducted by NID. The institute will shortlist the students based on exam score.

At the NID Bangalore, students are offered a Master's degree in MDes programme. The eligibility is same across all of the offered specialisations. Students need to appear for NID DAT exam. The course is provides across multiple specialisations i.e.:

NID is the best institution for product design and design innovation. NID Bangalore was established in 2006 as an initiative of the Department of industrial policy and Promotion. It offers M. Des in interaction design. After gaining adequate knowledge students become enable to design a wide range of products using technologies. They make careers in entrepreneurship where collaborative design-centric work takes place. The average package is 8 lakhs and the maximum goes to 30 lakhs.

The name says it all. The college is known popularily for its M.Des courses with various specializations. If you want to pursue M.Des, it is a great choice to look at. If you are genuinely looking for great design education, NITs are the way to go for you. There are other options available too like the IITs, IDC etc. but NIT stands out and are perfect for design courses.

There seems to be some discrepancy regarding the highest bundle offered to M.Des students at the National Institute of Design (NID) Bangalore for 2024 placements. Here's what I discovered:
