NID Bangalore MDes application process is an online procedure for which candidates need to visit the NID official website and follow the steps given below to fill the application form.
Step 1: Visit the official admission website of NID
Step 2: You will see a section of 'How to Apply'. In case you are a new user, click on signup. If you have already registered yourself, you can login to fill the application form.
Step 3: Login to your account with the mobile number and email id with which you have registered.

To secure admission to question Bangalore MDes, candidates need to appear for Design Aptitude Test (DAT). NID DAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Design.
The NID DAT is conducted in two stages, DAT Prelims and DAT Mains, propective candidates need qualify DAT Prelims to appear for DAT Mains. The final admission offers are made on the basis of candidate's performance in both stages.
DAT Prelims 2024 will be conducted on Dec 24, interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of NID.

Unfortunately, no. NID Bangalore MDes admission are strictly entrance-based. Candidates need to appear for NID DAT to secure admission at NID Bangalore.
The NID DAT is conducted in two stages and they are:
- DAT Prelims
- DAT Mains

NID Bangalore and NID Ahmedabad cannot really be compared because NID Bangalore is the extended campus of NID Ahmedabad and the institutes have a common admission process and a centralised placement cell.
NID Ahmedabad offers BDes and MDes, on the other hand NID Bangalore only offers an MDes.
Both the institutes offers different MDes specialisations, therefore the choice of institute will majorly depend on the specialisation selection of a candidate. For instance, if an aspirant wish to pursue MDes with specialisation in Digital Game Design, he/she will have to take admission at the Bangalore campus because the NID Ahmedabad does not off

The fee structure of NID, Bengaluru is expensive as compared to the other design Institutes. The fee ranges between 1,80,000- 2,00,000 for the 1st semester in undergraduate course. The approximate fees for the master's degree is around 11 lakh. You can visit the official website of NID for the latest fee structure. Students have to pay the security fees of 10,000 at the starting of the course. Some fees like the security fees is refundable but the tuition fees is non refundable. There are other charges as well like hostel, mess, transportation. The fees is but high but it is worth it.

It is recognised by the Department of scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India as a scientific and Industrial Research organisation. It is a statutory institute under DPIIT, Ministry of commerce and Industry, Government of India. It offers various design courses to the students. Yes, NID has an excellent placement records for the past years. Many companies visits the Institute every year to recruit the students. The top recruiting companies are - Axis Bank, Myntra, Philips, Reliance, Tata motors, Adobe and many more. The average package is 15 LPA. The highest package is 35 LPA whereas the lowest package is 6.5 LPA. Students gets placed in various design and creative field. If you have a goal of getting placed after the completion of the course, NID is a very good choice.
