National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Imphal has a specified a minimum aggregate for 50% for most of the courses. The NIELIT 2024 theory exam for O/A/B/C levels is scheduled to be conducted on Aug 3, 2024, to Aug 7, 2024. The results for the July cycle is expected to be out in October.

The latest cutoff information for admission to M.Sc at NIELIT Imphal requires candidates to have qualified with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in any of the following degrees from a recognised university:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics/ Computer Science/Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
Additionally, candidates must pass the admission test covering Mathematics at the XII standard and general aptitude at the graduate level.
