Yes you can get the scholarship but the problem you face there is inferiority complex as the students studying there are of highly rich family and hence there you can't be able to compete then in day to day life if you can manage these all then you would go ahead as this field is really worth for the money.

The best way to prepare for NIFT is self-study. Talk to any of the senior there, and ask for the appropriate study material and buy those books and start studying on your own and side by side with it go for drawing practice. A lot of practice is needed to crack NIFT. All the best.

It will cover the technical requirement and you will have an understanding of fashion design. However, I'd suggest talking to your professors and seeing if the course fulfills all your requirements. However, if you do a Diploma/degree program you will have better job/internship prospects while will in turn allow you to learn more.

It will cost you nearly 4-5 Lakhs if you go for NIFT and for other private institutions the fees is quite high.

The college starts in the month of August. One needs to apply online in the month of January. The entrance exam happens in the 2nd week of February usually.
