The admission process for NIMHANS Bangalore is entrance based. Candidates must appear for the INI-CET to participate in the admission process of the institute. To be considered for the B.Sc. in Nursing at NIHMN, one should have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together, and passing marks in English. But admission is also on the basis of performance in an entrance test, where you must score at least the 50th percentile for the unreserved category. So, if you score well in the entrance test, you can get admission.

The NIMHANS B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam tests applicants' skills in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, corresponding to the 10+2 level curriculum. The test consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in these subjects. Although NIMHANS does not publish a syllabus, concentrating on major concepts from your higher secondary education would prove helpful.
