In NBSE HSLC Exams, the board offer a variety of subjects. For the NBSE HSLC Board exams, the students need to select at least 5 subjects from English, Social Sciences, Science, Mathematics, and any Indian language. Apart from this, the studentscan also opt an additional subject. Each subject contains a total of 100 marks including 30 marks for internal assessment (if applicable).

To be eligible to appear for the NBSE HSLC Exam, the students must have passed in class 9 exams and must be enrolled in class 10 in a NBSE recognised school. Moreover, the students should also have maintained a minimum 75% attendance in class 10. However, any students with medical consition may be allowed to appear for the exam with less than 75% attendance in class 10.

The NBSE HSLC Exam is the High School Leaving Certificate exam conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) for the class 10 students in the state. NBSE HSLC exam tests students' knowledge in subjects like Maths, English, Social Science, Science, second language etc. Students need to obtain at least 33% marks to pass the NBSE HSLC exams. The board is expected to hold the NBSE HSLC exams 2026 in February and March 2026.
