Out of total of 900 marks which include 300 for maths and 600 for GAT paper, if you have 100+ in maths 150+ in GAT, then you will clear sectional cutoff for both paper that is normally of the range 25-35% of overall, but to clear the overall cutoff it should add up to more than 360+. Normally, GAT section is for scoring and maths section need to be cleared.

I believe NDA preparation should go hand in hand after entering in class 12th. Basically, it contains 2 papers namely maths and GAT. Normally, if you are a science background student then you will find GAT part of paper to be very to be a cake walk as it contains elementary level physics, chemistry and bio question, for which you just need to have the basics of that topic, that's it. Now, the main part to focus is maths section. Maths is basically of +2 level (11th and 12th) so its best to start practicing each chapter of maths NCERT that you have studied in class 11th and solve previous questions that have come from that chapter from

Hello Sudarshan,
Your age must lie in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years. You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of education. Further, in order to join Indian Navy or Indian Air force you need to have studied Physics and Mathematics at your Class 12th level. Students pursuing final year are also eligible. So being a Class 10th pass candidate you need to first complete your Class 12th.
