You are eligible to give an exam if you are studying in class 12th. But, even if you score good. Your name will not reflect in shortlisted candidates. But, when you will clear NDA 2020. Your name will appear in the list of candidates and will receive call letter too.

There is no separate cutoff marks for individual subjects in NDA. However, you have to obtained minimum cutoff marks as prescribed by UPSC for GAT and Mathematics along with the total cutoff marks.

NDA exam comprises the following two papers as Mathematics and general ability test. Each paper consists the 300 and 600 maximum marks respectively. As per the cutoff criteria of UPSC 2019, Candidates needs to secured minimum 25% marks in each paper. So, you needs to score minimum 75 marks in Mathematics and 150 marks in General ability test for qualifying the exam. Here is not considered the performance in individual subjects of GAT.

No, to join merchant navy you have to give another exam which is only for the admission of merchant navy. While NDA is for indian defence forces.

The NDA application form is made available from 8th January 2020 till 28th January 2020. For NDA II, candidates will be able to fill from 10th June 2020 till 30th June 2020.

You can apply into NDA 2 and NDA 2 2020 Exam Date has been Announced Now, the Exam will be held on 6th September 2020.

Yes, for appearing into the NDA exam, your age limit must be in between 16.5 to 19.5.
