Well, the NDA written exam has 2 papers. Paper -1 is based fully on mathematics and requires a good knowledge of mathematics of 10th, 11th 12th syllabus. Paper-2 is general ability which includes the GK, physics, chemistry, history. Etc. So it is very difficult for a person who has not studied physics, maths to clear the exam.

I myself have given the exam of NDA so think I can assist you for this query. Yes, there is a negative marking of -1.33 or you can say 1/3 part of the marks is deducted for each wrong answer. Hope, it cleared your doubt.

The eligibility criteria for NDA exam is as under. NDA Eligibility Criteria 2019 :-
1. Age Limit :- Candidates born not earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2003. The date of birth should match the date recorded in the matriculation or higher secondary examination certificate. Minimum Age: 16.5 years
Maximum Age: 19.5 years
Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination.
