Hi Sameer!
It's great that you are interested in NDA. For cracking this exam, you need to solve all the previous year problems. You can buy it from nearby markets or you can purchase it from amazon or flipcart via online shopping. Also try to give some online tests as well to improve your performance. By following this you can crack it without any coaching.
Best of luck.

According to me, Difficulty is in the state of mind. If you are prepared well then the exam is easy & if you are not then, it's difficult. NDA exam is quite easy if you know how to manage time at the time of exams. NDA exam is easy as compared to 12th class board exams/JEE Mains Exam. If you want to score good marks in NDA written paper, then firstly make your maths stronger as much as you can. You can practice maths from 12th class NCERT (12th class NCERT of MATHS is more than enough for NDA maths section).

Hi Yash,
Eligibility criteria for age is that you should be of 16.5 years to 19.5 years on the date of joining the academy. So definitely you can apply for NDA in 12th appearing category. For joining NDA UPSC conducts NDA exam twice a year. Exam conducted in month of April is called NDA-1 and the one conducted in month of September is called NDA-2. They are named so just for easy understanding. There is no difference in their selection procedure of both the exams.
