It consists of two papers, Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability (600 marks). Thus NDA/NA exam has a total of 900 marks. This exam is conducted for the boys who are or have passed 10+2 and are between 16 -19 years of age.

Study first 2 worksheets of Every chapter of CLASS 11-12 maths book. Not more. Solve previous years 5 days before. Till then, Study general knowledge (mostly current affairs and Indian independence movement and Congress sessions)
and for geography, you must go for the weather patterns-cloud formations, wind types-the doldrums and all that. )
Go for full dedication. And read all current affair most definitely. Try to solve mathematics paper as much as you can as it is just the basics of what you study for your class 12 exams. Go for Arihant Pathfinder for NDA. And also you can have the Arihant Previous year question papers. Hope this help

Yes, one can apply. There are two questions paper in NDA first is maths and second one is general (Eng, sst subjects, Physics, chemistry, biology ). Except physics and chemistry in second paper the syllabus is upto 10 level. So, a commerce student can apply for NDA but he should have maths as one of his core subject. And one more thing for air-force physics is compulsory thus commerce students are not eligible for airforce. But, the can give NDA with army and navy as there preference.

If you are from CBSE board, then the questions in NDA is not so tough and not so easy. But, you have too practice well
and you are from CBSE board then nothing to worry about the paper pattern and the questions.
You just concentrate on the practice and learning

You should fallow ncert syllabus. Don't get confused about CBSE and NCERT. CBSE recommend syllabus for NCERT books. So, you just go through your school syllabus that will be sufficient for you.

Once the date for filling the application form crossed, you are not eligible for giving the exam. It is a single window process.
