Hi Aryan,
The cut off is 25% in each subject means 75 marks in maths and150 marks in GAT paper, but to get qualified for SSB, you have to score at least 320. Then, in SSB you have to score around 390+ to get admission in NDA.

The UPSC administered NDA examination paper will have questions from two subjects Mathematics and General Ability Test. Mathematics question paper of NDA/ NA (II) 2017 examination will comprise various sections including Algebra, Matrices, Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differntial Calculus, Integral Calculus, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability. The General Ability Test paper will have questions from English, General Knowledge sections including Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and Current Events. There is only age limit. Your age should be 19 1/2 years while joining NDA. You can appear for NDA while appearing your 12th and after passing till the age limit.

See, both of these exams are entrance exams. For NDA and CDS, no particular percentage is required. You can take CDS only after completing CDS.

As an NDA aspirant you can opt for the CDS as in that you can have some technical knowledge and then you can build new and innovative things that can help forces to grow and can move matching shoulders with the world.

Yes, you can take a year drop and can apply for the Indian Navy and Indian Army this year only through the TES scheme. You will directly get admission for B.Tech in navy and army colleges respectively.

Hi Bhuvanesh,
There is only one written test for NDA selection, which consists of 2 sections: Mathematics and General Ability. If you are able to clear this test, you will have to appear for an interview. SSB board then conducts intelligence and personality test for final selection. This process consists of two stages.
Stage I: Comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT). You will be shortlisted based on a combination of performance in OIR Test and PP&DT.
