Yes, sure. If you are having interest in this field surely then you have to give NDA exam because if you are preparing for IITs then you will have good command on the concepts and in NDA exam, they just check your knowledge. Boost up your current affairs and general knowledge, just give extra 1 hour for NDA preparation and try to solve previous year's questions to boost up your speed.

By giving NDA, you are qualified for IMA, INA and Indian Academy of Air Force. After passing from NDA, you get direct Lieutenant rank or Captain rank in the given regiment. By giving IIT JEE Mains or advanced, you get to become a reputed engineer. Choice is yours. I'll go for NDA as a soldier lives by chance, loves by choice and kills by profession.
