The selection procedure remains the same because you are ultimately going to join for the same position. After being graduated you will get the chance to serve the forces as a technical engineer. NDA entry allows you to serve as an officer after 10+2, And as Sipahi after class 10. This allows you to enter the permanent commission in defence forces. After CDS you get entry usually in short service commission. NDA and CDS takes you to SSB before you finally get recommended. AFCAT leads you to AFSB before you for finally get recommended for the position applied.

To prepare for NDA, you need to study daily for at least 4 hours a day with your studies. Read general awareness, Maths, Physics and Chemistry with basic points and formulae, read English newspaper to be strong in English vocabulary. Practice sample paper daily. You can sample paper from internet or can buy NDA exam books as well.

It's good that you want to go to NDA. In my opinion, please don't drop and continue your UG course and with that you should prepare for NDA also and if you clear the written exam, then you should go for coaching of SSB at Col. And you should apply for Technical Entry Scheme (TES) whose form is available on:
