After clearing NDA exam, you can get entry into prestigious defence services in the country -army , navy or airforce.
You will have good training cum placement in the armed forces.
Further your entire expenses like training expenses, clothing,accommodation , books, medical treatment for 4 years till training period is over.
Suppose you are financially weak, then the govt. provides pocket expenses of Rs.400 per month
Further you will also be able to receive lot of scholarships both from the central govt. and state govt.
After successful completion of training , you will get B.SC/B.sc (computer) /B.A degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, D

NDA is one of the reputed academy for Indian Army and they release the result of exam conducted by UPSC after 4th or 5th week of exam dates.
So don't worry about the result just prepare for exam

You have to study well and try to complete the syllabus for NDA on time and have a grip on maths and general science so that you should crack the exam easily.

Hello Premnath,
If you are working in Indian Army then you can't appear for NDA exam for another job in Indian Army so if you are working right now in Indian Army as in merchant navy then work well

After passing 12th standard, you are eligible for NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission Twice in a year as NDA(I) & NDA(II) Exam. Through NDA exam, you can join following defence services:
*Indian Army

*Indian Air Force

Hi Shivam,
The minimum eligibility criteria (educational qualification) for NDA examination is:
Educational Qualifications:
(I) For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
