NEET PG Cut-off

GITAM University MD/ MS cut off 2024 has been released for Round 1. As per the NEET PG cutoff 2024, the round 1 closing ranks varied between 10718 and 103926, wherein the most competitive MD specialsiation was MD in Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy, followed by MD in Radio-Diagnosis for the students belonging to the General category in the AI quota. Cut off date for NEET PG 2025 has been released by NBE along with the official brochure. The cut off date is July 31, 2025. NEET PG 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on August 3, 2025. Candidates have to register on the official website for NEET PG exam. Offline or any other mode of NEET PG application form is not accepted by NBE. 

NEET PG 2025 cut off has been reduced in comparision to last few year cut off. The cut off is the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam in that particular caregory. Only candidates who score the minimum marks can participate in seat allocation process. The table given below contains the cut off for each category:

It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. 

NBE had released NEET PG 2023 cut off on March 14. The cut off was uploaded online along with the result PDF. The NEET PG cutoff refers to the minimum score a candidate has to obtain to qualify for the NEET PG counselling process. As predicted by experts, the NEET PG cutoff 2023 has increased from that of last year. The minimum marks to be scored by General category candidates to qualify was 291. Last year it was 275. For SC/ST category, NEET PG 2023 cu off was 257.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut accepts NEET PG entrance exam scores for admission to PG courses, including MS programmes. During the round 2 cutoff, the NEET PG closing ranks were released for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, and Orthopaedics, of which the most competitive MS specialisation was Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with the NEET PG Round 2 closing rank of 4249 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Dr SN Medical College Jodhpur accepts NEET PG scores for admission to the MS courses. NEET PG Round 1 cutoff was only released for MS in Obstetrtics and Gynaecology course for which the closing rank stood at 3439. The cutoff is for the General AI category students. The Telangana NEET PG 2023 cutoff was released by the counselling conducting body. Candidates can take a look at the table provided below:

However, the ranks for all Telangana medical colleges has not been released yet officially. Only the seat vacancy status has been released for the purpose of counselling.

The qualifying/ cutoff percentile for NEET PG can be lowered if there are not enough candidates for the counselling process. Such decisions will be taken in consultation with the Medical Council of India and will be informed to the test-takers via an official notification. In 2023, MCC had reduced NEET PG cut off percentile to zero for all category for stray vacancy round counselling. MCC had reduced cut off for 2024-25 session as well. Reduction of NEET PG cut off depends on many factors including number of vacant seats to be filled up. 

Government Medical College, Chandrapur NEET PG Round 1 cutoff for MS in General Surgery is 11352 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in Government Medical College, Chandrapur.
