Based on your NEET PG rank of 80816 in the general category, your chances of getting admission to a government medical college for MD/MS courses are slim. However, you may still have the opportunity to secure admission to a private medical college. The availability of seats and cut-off for different specialities vary from college to college. Hence, it's difficult to predict the exact speciality or college you may get. However, you can still explore some of the options based on the previous year's cut-off. To get a better idea, you can refer to the previous year's cut-off for different colleges and specialities, which is available onlin

It depends on various factors such as the number of available seats, the competition for those seats, and the category you belong to. to a medical college in India, where admission to undergraduate medical courses is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The cutoff rank varies each year based on the difficulty level of the exam and the number of applicants.

In general, with a rank of 26k, it may be challenging to get admission to government medical colleges as the competition is high. However, you may have a chance of getting a seat in private medical colleges, depending on their admission criteria and the numb

Let me assume you are from unreserved category with no physical handicapped quota. So let me be honest. There is no chance of getting clinical streams with your rank at any government medical college. But surely you can get non clinical streams in few government colleges or private deemed colleges. So if you are okay with getting non clinical streams, then you can apply for any top medical colleges of India. You can get a non clinical stream in subsequent rounds of counselling.

There is always a correction window, if that has also passed then only a special request can be made. Unfortunately, after the correction window closes it is near impossible to change anything. This is the reason candidates are advised to fill details carefully so that there is minimum scope of error. NBE may or may not entertain the request the special request in case the deadline of correction window gets over.

It depends on the eligibility criteria set by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the admission policy of the MGR University in Tamil Nadu and the Andhra Pradesh state NEET PG counselling. Generally, the admission to MS General Surgery programs in India is based on the candidate's NEET PG score and rank, as well as their eligibility for the programme. In this case, it would be best for your son to check with both the MGR University and the Andhra Pradesh state NEET PG counselling to SEE if he is eligible for admission to the MS General Surgery programme in either location.
