Candidates can appear for as many times as they want. There is no cap on the number of attempts in NEET PG exam. As per the experts, candidates may appear twice for the exam to improve the score or to do away mistakes in the first attempt. NEET PG exam is held in computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off can participate in the counselling process. They have to register and declare choice for college to participate in the seat allocation process.

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.

NEET PG 2023 cut off for general category was 291. The cut off is the minimum marks to be scored to qualify for the exam in that particular category. NBE declared NEET PG 2023 cut off along with the result on March 14, 2023. Those who scored less than the cut off marks will not be eligible for the counselling process. The counselling is held for seat allotment.

15 AIIMS including AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER, Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, SGPGI Lucknow, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum do not accept NEET PG scores. A separate exam is conducted for admission at these institutes, i.e INI CET. The exam is conducted twice in a year in computer-based mode.

Candidates will have to download NEET PG 2025 scorecard for 50% AIQ seats from the official website. They have to provide login details to download the scorecard. Only those qualify exam by scoring the minimum cut off could download individual scorecard. The scorecard contains details such as roll number of candidate, score, All India Rank, category rank, number of correct answers and incorrect onesetc. The scorecard is needed at various stages of admission process including seat allotment.

Yes. NBE announced NEET PG 2025 result on August 19, 2025. The official date for result was September 3, 2025. NEET PG 2025 result cum merit list has been uploaded online. Qualified candidates can download the scorecards with login details. Those who score the minimum cut off are declared qualified for the exam. It must be noted that the result is valid for that particular session only. Those who score the minimum cut off will be declared qualified for the exam. Qualified candidates will be eligible for the counselling for seat allotment.

The qualifying NEET PG cutoff percentile for the general category is 50. Candidates whose percentile score is above the cutoff percentile will be considered for the admission process. NEET PG cutoff percentile score varies for each category.

A total of 4 rounds of NEET PG counselling will be held for 50% All India Quota seats by MCC. Candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. nic.in to participate in the counselling rounds for NEET PG. Registration will be followed by choice declaration for the counselling. Seats will be allotted based on NEET PG rank, choice declared by candidates, availability of seats in particular college and course, reservation factor etc. Candidates must note, respective state authorities will conduct the counselling for rest 50% seats.
