Private medical institutions including Integral Medical College and Era Medical College alongside Santosh Medical College as well as Jamia Hamdard Medical College and CMC Vellore offer potential admission options. Your 1,83,200 All India Rank positioning under the SC category alongside your NEET score of 518 gives you decent prospects to obtain an MBBS seat in either government or private medical colleges through state quota or AIQ. For securing seats in Government college good NEET scores are required. Cut off in NEET for many college ranges from 400 to 500 marks. If any student scores well in NEET with 76 percent marks in class 12th, he can get seat in government college but if they have scored less in NEET below cutoff then chances are very less.

Originally, the last date of counselling was October 3, 2025, which was postponed twice due to NRI/PWD candidate requests, and ongoing court cases.

The NEET counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) primarily in online mode. All the steps of the counselling process, including the registration, release of seat matrix, choice filling and locking, and release of the seat allotment result. Only the last and final round, which is the institute reporting, has to be done in offline mode. Herein candidates who have been allotted seats have to visit the institutes for document verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fee amount.
