For securing seats in Government college good NEET scores are required. Cut off in NEET for many college ranges from 400 to 500 marks. If any student scores well in NEET with 76 percent marks in class 12th, he can get seat in government college but if they have scored less in NEET below cutoff then chances are very less.

The NEET counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) primarily in online mode. All the steps of the counselling process, including the registration, release of seat matrix, choice filling and locking, and release of the seat allotment result. Only the last and final round, which is the institute reporting, has to be done in offline mode. Herein candidates who have been allotted seats have to visit the institutes for document verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fee amount.

GMC Ernakulum cutoff 2024 during the last round was closed at 8928, for admission to MBBS, for the General AI quota candidates. Therefore, for the General AI quota, admission at 10000 rank is not possible For the OBC AI category candidates, the last round closing rank for MBBS was 10906, therefore admission at 10000 rank is possible. For SC AI, ST AI and EWS AI quota candidates, admission at 10000 rank is possible, due to higher cutoff rank.

For the General AI category candidates, it is difficult to get admission at 10000 rank, as per the last round cutoff list. The last round closing rank for admission to MBBS among the General AI category was 8464. For OBC AI category candidates, the last round closing rank was 8760, therefore, it is difficult to get admission at this rank for OBC AI quota as well. For candidates belonging to categories other that General AI and OBC AI, admission to MBBS at TD Medical College is possible.
